My name is Brandon Dorney and
I currently live in Rutherford, NJ. This
is my fourth year of teaching and I can honestly say that I love it. I
am currently working as
a Visual Arts Teacher in a wonderful school in Newark, NJ. My school
ranges from Pre-K to 4th grade with about 600 students. The Newark
Public School District has 82 schools and is the 2nd largest school
district in New Jersey. The Newark public school district is
a wonderful place for students and teachers to learn and grow. I hope
to do whatever I can so
that Newark students are receiving the best education possible.
I hope to move up to a
leadership position in the next 5-10 years. I have
just been voted the Co-Chair person of our School's Leadership Team and I
am very excited to do whatever I can to guide, help, and refocus our
schools direction. I look forward to working with a team of leaders
that are willing to work hard for our schools success. This is
something brand new for me but I am willing to roll up my sleeves and do whatever it takes, if it means success for our school.
